WHAT IS IT?
The Debate is Open! is a set of illustrated cards designed to encourage students to debate in English, helping them develop confidence in expressing and defending their opinions.
LANGUAGE AIMS
The game helps students learn and practise the vocabulary and language structures needed to express opinions, agree and disagree, and build arguments on a wide range of everyday topics.
CONTENTS
The box contains 75 illustrated cards covering 30 topics for discussion, offering different points of view to spark debate among students.
DISTANCE LEARNING
The cards can also be used during online classes, for example by sharing an image and asking students to discuss the topic or defend a point of view.
