In collaboration with the University of Macerata, ELi Publishing has drafted guidelines for the production of school texts respecting gender parity and challenging stereotypes.
Stories and examples are reviewed to offer balanced, realistic portrayals of different social and cultural backgrounds.
Illustrations are chosen to reflect a culture of parity, recognising how powerfully visual language shapes young minds.
Texts use inclusive, precise wording that moves beyond gender stereotypes and represents people authentically.
